Appearance: Pours a clear, medium orange color with a strong white head. SRM of 11. (4.00)
Aroma: Mild aromas of pale malt, faint bread and wheat aromas, some generic and non-specific malt aromas. Orange citrus sweetness lingers. (3.75)
Flavor: Malty flavors of wheat, bread and smooth orange and wheat flavors. Some caramel sweetness and toasted flavor. Finishes, smooth, malty, mildly sweet. (3.75)
Feel: Medium to heavier bodied, strong carbonation and a smooth finish. (3.75)
Compared to Summit Twin Pils 12/2022: Pours darker, milder head and aromas. More orange and bread flavors. Less lemon citrus, grains, dry wheat. Bigger, smoother and less bitter.
Overall: An okay Zwickel here. Heavier and bready. Some orange and wheat flavors. Sort of reminds me of Bells Oberon. Drinks much more along the lines of a Maibock or Marzen than a kellerbier. Good, but I think misses the style completely. (Rating: 3.72)

12oz bottle, best by 10NOV22 , Bottle states 5.4% ABV, website claims 5.0% ????
Look: lite copper amber body but semi transparent dark gold body when held to the light, micro amount of hazy/suspended sediment in it. ok white head that leaves a little lacing
Smell: bread, sweet malt, hint of floral
taste: follows the nose, toasted bread, slightly sweet then slightly bitter later on. Mild noble hop spice on the finish. smooth
Feel: ok
A good solid beer, that doesn't really stand out from the crowd in any way. 3.97/5
Brewery Notes:
Anthony, Shipping and Receiving Tech here at Lakefront, brewed this German-Style Kellerbier. Bready and toasty malt flavor up front with an assertive noble hop spiciness and crisp, classic, German lager finish. 35 IBUs 12.5° PLATO
MALTS: Vienna, Pilsner, Melanoidin Malt
HOPS: Hallertauer
Lying somewhere between a helles and a märzen, this unclarified, unpasteurized lager to pour up coppery amber with a fine, off-white head. Expect a medium body, German malt flavors of fresh bread crust and mild whole-grain toast, paired with peppery noble hops, and an easy, off-dry finish.
