Our favorite dark lager, now Non-Alcoholic! This Bavarian dark-inspired near beer is a blend of three specialty grains, creating a rich, smooth, brew that anyone can enjoy.

This beer is worthy. Kindof like a Dunkel. No crazy wortiness or sugar to help it along. The only other dark beer that I put on the worthy list is Guinness, sorry Butte NA, you did not make the cut.
Scoring is done on my arbitrary NA scale! High for this beer because there are so many poor NA beers.

This is another phenomenal NA beer. The can says its a German style dark beer, but i swear it has the subtle taste and aroma notes of a Belgian Dubbel. Poured into a big St. Bernardus chalice, a beautiful clear amber mahogany with the aroma and taste of stone fruit, fig, raisin and dates with an off-white head and nice medium smooth mouthfeel really make me forget its an NA beer. Its wonderful to be able to be out on the deck drinking a Belgian Dubbel for breakfast.

Beautiful dark brown pouring beer. When I hold it to the light, I get amber notes shining through. Frothy and thick 2 finger off white head. Great head retention, and lacing on the glass.
Nose is very faint. Not getting much off of it beyond a faint grain aroma.
Taste - Faint grain flavor, and a good deal of burnt toast.
Light bodied, slightly watery feeling.
I have had way better NA dark beers than this one.

Following up on the surprise enjoyment of Lakefront's Riverwest Stein NA, I had to try this new NA by the longtime favorite brewer. Poured into a tall Becher.
L -- Clear, dark copper to chestnut with a dense, off-white head.
S -- Light herbal hops with light cereal grains back. Very light overall.
T -- Rather tannic, grainy malts up front with some mild bread crust and cereal grain following. The harsh graininess returns in the finish through the aftertaste.
F -- Mouthfeel is soft and smooth with a dry finish and medium body.
O -- not quite as impressive as the Riverwest Na -- doesn't seem to hide the fresh wort character as well. The bready malt sweetness asserts more with warming, but can't overcome the harsh graininess. While definitely more drinkable than most NAs I've tried, it's not as good as its brother beer in the lineup.
