Ale aged in whiskey barrels. Brewed and bottled for Aman's Beer & Wine, Wind Lake Wisconsin by Lakefront Brewery, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Lakefront Brewery crafted this bold and burly Barleywine Ale, then filled a couple of our whiskey barrels - one bourbon and one rye - and let'em cellar for over a year. The result: a deep red-brown, full-bodied, malty-sweet ale with tons of caramel malt flavor and barrel-aged aromas of vanilla, oak plank, cherries and honey.
