Brewed with cinnamon, orange zest, clove, and generous amounts of honey. Smooth, full, and spicy, the blend of brandy, bourbon and rum barrel gives our winter warmer complex notes of oak, marzipan, toasted almonds and molasses.

From a 12oz can. Canned on October 9th, 2024.
This beer is dark red pouring. When I hold it to light, I do get a slight bit of haze to it. There's a 1 finger off white head to the beer. The head retention is not the best, but not too surprising, and there's no lacing on the glass.
I get a lot of orange in the aroma. I also get barrel notes, as well as a spiciness from cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.
Taste - The spices really come into play right away. Theses spices are added to by the orange. There's a bit of sweetness on the back, almost like caramel.
The body is very smooth. Somewhat bubbly feeling, though the head dissipated so fast. There's just a very faint warming feeling on the way back.
This is very tasty overall and a good beer for the season.

Amber brown pour with a cream colored full head and lacing. Nose is exactly as advertised! Christmas in a glass with big spice, sweeter barrel and orange. Taste has barrel and orange first then spices and toasty oak, marzipan, malt and faint biscuit support. Feel is medium light which makes it highly drinkable, booze and spices get close to burning but stop short thankfully. Fun Christmas ale

note 2023 is a better beer than 2024. 2024 is not even the same beer it appears with the barrel aging.
2024: 3.82/5

A lager. It's medium duty flavor wise. The barrel is there but not too strong. Has some complexity. I'm getting rum & bourbon, orange peel, honey, cinnamon, ginger, oak/vanilla. Seems very well balanced. smooth and tasty. Rather sweet.
Nice mouth feel, smooth and malty.
