New Grist IPA packs all the citrus, pine, and dank flavors IPA drinkers love in a robust, smooth brew. This gluten-free, clean IPA is well-balanced without getting overly bitter.
Made with water, rice, malted millet, hops, and yeast.
Late boil Citra, Idaho 7 and Mosaic hops lend New Grist IPA plenty of orange candy, lemon-lime soda and fruity tangerine aroma along with flavors of citrus, pine and hints of tropical fruit. Pale- and medium-roast malted millet round out the hops and gives New Grist IPA a familiar toastiness with a pleasantly easy-drinking body. Overall, brightly citrus and hoppy without the bitter bite.

My review somehow didn't save so I am kind of angry and will only write a short review this time.
Looks amazing, mega strong pine cone and lychee aromas. I love the malt taste, in England only sheep eat millet. But it works really well with the rice.
My main issue is the hops are too pine coney and need more tropical and citrus peel flavours.
Ok let's see if this saves

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a lightly hazed yellow-straw color with a small head of white foam. The head fades fast, leaving just a trace of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heaviest of a lemon and cracker malt smell mixed with notes of rice and some grapefruit. Along with these smells comes notes of grass and a bit of herbal hop.
Taste – the taste begins with a lemon and grapefruit flavor mixed with some light rice cracker malt flavors. At the same time there is a bit of orange and lemongrass, along with notes of yeast and a bit of coriander. As the taste advances the citrus gets a bit stronger as the other flavors fad a touch, taking the taste to its end and leaving one with a lemon-grapefruit citrusy taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – the body is medium to light with a moderate carbonation level.
Overall – A decent gluten free IPA with a big showing of lemon and grapefruit.

DATE: August 22, 2024... OCCASION: enjoying the last Thursday before a new school year dons on the other side of this weekend--enjoying a much-needed new GF offering makes the night even sweeter... GLASSWARE: Otto's pint... pours a clear, effervescent light golden body whose off-white head holds steady at a half-finger's width.... fresh, light tropical aromas waft--grapefruit, lemon-lime, orange--with champagne-like spritziness conjuring a summer celebration... the millet is somewhat lost in the hop-forward approach, but as GFs go, this is often a good thing, as millet can get pushy at best or annoying at worst... its agreeable body allows for copious, refreshing sips that have a hint of the millet at the throat, providing some ale-like backbone... overall, a solid offering that refreshes and invigorates with much the same experience as its pilsner... this could be seen as limiting, or the inevitable crossover of similar ingredients...
