Appearance: Pours espresso colored with a khaki film that fades to a collar; leggy with a few speckles
Smell: Dark chocolate with Bourbon-driven dried dark fruit and caramel tones
Taste: Dried dark fruit, chocolate and caramel flavors forward with the Bourbon emerging in the middle; well-balanced and a bit smokey into the finish
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with low carbonation
Overall: We are over 7 years in the bottle and this is drinking beautifully; the Bourbon is well-integrated and nicely balanced
