Appears a dark brown with a 1 finger tan head. Little lacing is left behind.
Smell is of roasted malts and grain with a nutty and slight caramel aroma with light hops breaking through.
Taste is of a toasty malt that has a distinct Lancaster brew feel to it. Signature yeast, followed by the medium malt and a mix of hoppy bitterness.
Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy for this style. Lots of toasty bitter sweetness with plenty of hops in the mix to make it highly enjoyable.
Drinkability is great. As with all Lancaster brews, you can just make a session of this if you find it.
Finger licking good.
