I tried this on tap at the Harrisburg location poured chilled in a pint.
The color is appropriately golden with slight chill haze and thick white head with average sized bead and good retention. The smell is malt forward with a light toast aroma with mild sweet odor. The feel is good with somewhat full body for the style with good carbonation and mild sweetness with a toasted texture and gentle alcohol in the finish.
The taste is pretty pleasant with a nice pilsner malt flavor that is subtle in its sweetness level with a nice hint of German lager yeast and low hops yet there is a light spice element in the back end. This is a very good lager -a little bit on the clean side yet still has some elements that nod to the German roots -Prost!
