12 oz. can. A decent but not great beer. A bit thin and the orange and coriander additives are a bit overwhelming, in a candy flavor kind of way. Needs a bit more body and some subtle spice flavor. All the same I'm glad to see them bring this back; it had disappeared for several years.

Poured into a custom shaped grip style glass: color is hazy gold, head is off white with fine to small bubbles, head laces the glass sides.
Smell is light biscuit, some wheat, hints of yeast off notes.
Taste is similar with light biscuit and wheat notes, light yeast qualities with hints of yeast spiciness.
Mouthfeel is soft, lightly sweet, moderate carbonation.
Overall a good wheat beer, but a bit sweet and light on yeast spice for a witbier.

Welcome to Lancaster's Wilkum! For many years, LNCBC was my hangout, but with the arrival of Iron Hill & the opening of other adventurous beer bars, I kind of fell out of the habit. I still keep my hand in, though, and when this recently appeared in bottles, I procured one for review.
From the bottle: "Our Belgian-style Wit brewed with malted and unmalted grain for traditional haze and smoothness, spiked with Curaçao Orange Peel and Coriander for extraordinarily refreshing flavor."
I agitated the beer in the bottle before Pop!ping the cap & then gave it a bit of a rest & then Pop!ped the cap. I then gave it one of the hardest aggro pours in a while just to ensure that it had every bit of flocculate in suspension. Who ever heard of a KristalWit?!? FFSake, don't tell me that I just gave someone an idea! My works resulted in two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, tawny head with decent retention that left some lacing in its wake. Color was a cloudy Amber (SRM = > 7, < 9). Nose was strong with the scent of orange, but the coriander was buried under the bready yeastiness. Mouthfeel was on the thin side, not outright watery, but not much beyond it, either. The taste was decent, more towards orange and bready yeast with just hints of coriander. Finish was dry, as is to be expected with any beer that employs spices as adjuncts. It was not bad, but it was not one of the better examples of the style that I have had, either. YMMV.
