Some say life is a game of chance… and whether you win or lose, it’s all about enjoying the experience.
Inspired by fun, curiosity, and a small dose of competencia, this crisp and refreshing Mexican Cerveza is brewed with a touch of lime and sea salt… definitely worth the gamble.

Purchased at First Choice Liquor in Waurn Ponds in November 2022. Drunk in May 2023.
L: In the glass it's an ultra-clear Corona-coloured lemony yellow. There's a thin rim of white head at the edge of the glass and lots of big-bubbled carbonation racing up the glass. Looks exactly like a Mexcian cerveza should.
S: This one is brewed with lime and salt for that now-accepted Mexican-beer-with-a-wedge-of-lime vibe, and that's very evident in the nose, with lime and salt dominating all else. It's a surprisingly fresh and zesty smell for a beer and works really well for the style.
T: I keep comparing this to a Corona, but in the taste department it's infinitely better. The lime and salt are a seamless part of the beer, rather than an adjunct added post-opening to add some semblance of taste to the beer in the bottle. This is actually very enjoyable and could be drunk in significant volume.
F: The mouthfeel is prickly and carbonated, but that plays to the visual cues the beer throws at you when you see it in the glass.
O: Overall, this is really good. As is often the case with the popular macro beers, it's criminal that they are drunk over this infinitely better example of the style.
Cheers!
