Another winner on the sampler tray. Why do most brewpubs make a raspberry wheat? I can name a dozen that do. Popular with the ladies? I dont know. I usually enjoy them. Anyway, this beer poured a slightly hazed orangey gold with no head at all. Low in carbonation. The aroma is surprisingly refreshing and sweet with fresh raspberry puree in the forefront floating on a nice body of delicate malts. The taste is lightly fruity and sweet, but seems to be balanced well. Light in body with some graininess and nuttiness detected. Sweet in the finish. Very nice.
