Bought a bottle of this from Tanakaya in Mejiro, Tokyo. Poured into a Paulaner weizen glass. A beautiful "pineapple" gold hue with a nice thick meringue white head on it. Noticeable scent of pineapple lingering off the top of the brew, and the head tasted amazingly refreshing with that pineapple note. However, the taste of the brew itself and its mouthfeel fell short for me. Overall, I have had some amazing Sankt Gallen brews, and this is not one of them. I would prefer others over this (while it is still miles better than some other average-level beers).
