This canned Michelada is by far the best that I know of. I get cravings for this delicious and scrumptious balanced flavor all the time, just be aware that if you were hoping for the sweetest and most realistic mango you might be disappointed, I'm getting a perfect mix of beer, mango, lime, tomato/umami, worcestershire, and yes of course savory salty clam juice! If the idea of clam juice/broth in a beer makes you gag then you're going to want to avoid micheladas like the plague. The only complaint here is that it isn't very strong at only 3.5% abv, but still illegal to drink it in public. This is gonna be a solid hangover cure, and if you're feeling adventurous you can add garnishes like shrimp, tajin, chamoy, salt, hot sauce/sriracha, more beer, more clamato, MSG, etc... Plenty of ways to dress this up or just crack the can open while having a backyard BBQ and enjoy how refreshing this michelada is. I find myself getting less dehydrated when I have these over 'regular beer' as they do have some salt and extra nutrients compared to typical domestic beer.

Smell of mangoes, then tomatoes
Cloudy orange-red color, lots of floating particles
Light carbonation
Medium mouthfeel in the beginning then heavier at the end. Looks like it needs to be shaken with heavier particles on the bottom.
Taste of tomatoes, spicy jalapenos, salty, mangoes,
Overall a weird combination that is not for me. Expected mangoes to be dominate flavor.

I must say that the first couple times I tried micheladas made with Clamato, I was wholeheartedly convinced that it did not belong together with beer and certainly not with tropical fruit. However for some reason I decided to give this a shot and it was far more pleasant than any other michelada I have tried, including ones with no Clamato. Granted it is not for everyone, quite sweet and leaves an interesting tang in your mouth, but it’s a unique flavor and very refreshing - definitely worth at least a shot.

Pour is showing a deep red with a half of a finger of pink head that is dissipating down to just a skin of bubbles. Lots of particulates floating around in here. No real lacing but it does leave some particles on the side of the glass as the beer goes down.

Smell is musty mango. Pitch that in with a bit of sweet mango.

Taste is interesting. The sweeter mango comes forward now. Mix that with some salty Clamato. The taste is good, just difficult to find the beer. Sweet and slightly spicy flavors making for a very rich taste.

Mouth feel seems like it is going to be more medium but actually turns up a pretty light mouth feel. Just a bit sticky on the back end that seems to linger for just a bit.

The combos of the mango and the Michelada makes for an interesting and rather tasty drink. The beer is so light at only 3.5% that is pretty much completely masked over. I do like the flavor but do think it is a bit rich and could possibly cause some acid reflux in those prone to that. Price point will not factor into my score but I will say in my area (Las Vegas NV) these were a bit up there at my local grocery store, 2 24oz. cans was $6, and that was a sale! If you like Micheladas in general and mango as well give this a try. Not bad at all.

Murky red, pinkish foam, the filmy red lacing almost looks like the glass was dipped in salsa. From a michelada standpoint, this actually looks good, as it’s a beer cocktail with Clamato as stated on the label.

Aroma has a distinct artificial mango note and a weird medicinal off note. Some savory tomato notes are the only saving grace.

Taste has the artificial mango flavoring, and a lot of Clamato, which tastes good. Savory like a bloody mary, not too salty, with the fruity mango note that works well together, but is still artificial. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Overall it was hard to finish, thanks Lee & Liz for helping out.
