Notes:
Tropical Chamoy Michelada is a flavorful and refreshing lager blended with Clamato®, chamoy flavor and pineapple juice. This traditional lager is mixed with the sweet and tart punch of pineapple juice and ends with a kick of heat from the robust and full flavors of Clamato® and chamoy. Inspired by the Estrella Jalisco's roots. It is a classic michelada recipe with a tropical twist.

Estrella Jalisco Tropical Chamoy Michelada has a really cool looking can design and the drink is also quite refreshing. I'm not too huge on all the sweetness but others might prefer a sweeter canned michelada, so sweet toothed ladies and gents, this one is for you! This taste is good, I'm getting a very balanced profile of pilsner beer, lime, pineapple, tropical punch, mexican candy/tamarindo, tomato, clam juice, and just a hint of salt/worcestershire. At only 3.5 ABV, this one won't have you slumped over on the couch at all and (although it's not for me) I feel this one might have an even bigger fanbase than most other canned micheladas! Give it a try and see if you like it, at less than 5 bucks for a tall boy, the price is fair.

25oz can picked up from the liquor store for under $3, poured into Duvel tulip.
Appearance - Has the appearance of V8 vegetable juice. Orangered, opaque, with large floating particulates, but with some mild carbonation that quickly fizzles out after the pour. Head also disperses rapidly into nothingness. 4
Smell - Sweet pina colada with a little bit of hot sauce and clamato underneath. Smooth and alluring. 4.25
Taste - Complex balance of spicy and sweet mexican flavors. 4.75
Mouthfeel - Very smooth, even within a particular smooth style it stands out. 5
Overall - High drinkability. And relatively low alcohol means this is an extremely sessionable beer. 5

Color is standard Michelada red with a pop of a white head that is gone in a flash. Maybe a few particles floating in here as well.
Smell is musty tropical fruit. Not real pleasant on the smell. Musty tropical fruit and Clamato. Getting like an onion on the smell.
Taste is pretty good. A good combination of sweet and spice here. The sweet has a bit of pineapple essence and than there is that back end heat that sizzles along very nicely.
The mouth is leaning toward the medium spectrum with that sticky bit of sweet and rich tomato feel to it. The finish has a nice lingering sizzle of heat.
Overall not a bad Michelada. Just wish they could do something with that aroma. That is not very pleasant at all. Sadly it carries my score down just a bit. The mouth feel is also just a bit heavier and stickier than I would like for a super hot day in Vegas. Still got to give it props for that sweet up front, bit of beer in the middle and heat sizzle in the back. Overall worthy of trying if you like the style. Something a bit different.
