Pours a clear golden color. Three fingers of white head that fiercely crackles and settles into the beer leaving a small white lacing on top.

Smells of limes and saltine crackers coming off the beer.

Taste is more of a smooth lime if that makes any sense. Like a creamy sense like in key lime pie smooth. Not a lot of tartness from the lime. And where is the salt? The salt you kind of pick up in the background. Also picking up sweetness from the lime more than the tartness.

Mouth is medium and the beer lingers a bit in the back of the taste.

I am sorry on this one. Grupo Modelo did not give me what I was looking for here. This is not bad by no means just different. Different from the Modelo version of the Limon Y Sal Michelada. Which I should say it is O.K. to be different. Just that I love that tart and salty pop I get with the Modelo version. This just seems like a tired and flat version of that Chelada. And seeing that these came from the same brewery I was hoping maybe this might be a level up. However to me it seems a level down. That is only my opinion. I would love to hear from reviewers that are fans of the Modelo version and see what they think of this version. Cheers to all!
