Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance- The beer is served a lightly hazed orange amber color with a tiny fizzy white head. The head fades fast to leave a trace of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell - The aroma is strongest of a citrus and earthy hop smell mixed with a little bit of biscuit. A little bit of grass and some grain are there as well, rounding out the smell nicely.
Taste- The taste begins with a drier bready taste with some citrus and earthy hop present right from the start. As the taste advances some light orange citrus sweetens the taste ever so slightly, with it being balanced by a little bit of pine hop. In the end, a hint of grass and grain join the taste, leaving one with a more moderately dry and more dankly hop flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - The body of the beer is crisp and thin with a carbonation level that is normal. For the drier and slightly more dankly hopped flavors the feel is good and makes for a nice crisp drinker.
Overall- This was a rather enjoyable and easy drinking APA with a nice, somewhat dry, and dank taste. A nice try for sure.
