05/08/07- Had on tap at the Big Sky Brewery in Missoula, MT.
Presentation- From the tap into two 5oz taster glasses.
Appearance- Light yellow pee like color. 1/4 inch seltzer like head which evaporates quickly. Ultra light lace.
Smell- Very light scent of toasted malts and grapefruit hop. Not offensive in any way, just hard to track down a scent.
Taste- Light pine bitterness from the hops with a light toasted malt background. Rather boring. Nothing jumps out.
Mouthfeel- Watery and sprizty at the same time with a light bitter aftertatse.
Drinkability- Probably my least favorite release from Big Sky. No need to go back to this one. Plenty of other good ones for the palette.
