Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a lightly hazed pinkish orange color with a one finger head of fizzy white foam. The head fades rather fast to leave just a trace of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strong of a strawberry rhubarb smell mixed with a little bit of grain. Along with these aromas comes notes of grass and a bit of lemon.
Taste – The taste begins with a tart green apple taste with some light strawberry and rhubarb flavors mixed within. As the taste advances it gets more sour with some lemon and a bit of grass coming to the tongue to leave one with a lightly sweet and sour strawberry taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of brew is thin and crisp with a carbonation level that is rather high. For the mix of light sweet and sour and the low abv. the feel is fantastic and makes for a refreshing and easy drinking feel.
Overall – A decent lightly soured and lightly sweetened Weiss. Overall refreshing and quite drinkable.
