This very limited edition brew was available only at the brewery in a pop-top pint bottle. I purchased bottle # 12/100. I couldn’t wait to break it open and when I did it was totally worth it. The color was pitch black with a creamy brown head. The aroma was sweet, a bit roasty and had an almost sublte berry quality to it afforded by oak barrel conditioning. The flavor was sweet and heavy with an oak and mellow roasted flavor. The heavy body was creamy and there is a perfectly balanced hop punch in the end. Just an awesome brew.
