Quite enjoyed this. Not too complex but very smooth and tasty, in a malty caramel way of course. Perfect for a mild October evening!

12oz can at share. Copper colored pour, thin foamy head. Malty aroma, toffee, brown sugar. Taste is malty, bready , sweetness with a light chalky finish.

On draft at International Tap House. Poured a clear, golden amber color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of caramel, toffee and floral notes. Sweet caramel taste with a light bitterness.

This is the 2023 edition of the Oktoberfest in the 12 oz can. The aroma is quite pleasant with green noble hops, perhaps, and a beery malty nose. Pours a dark coppery color with long-lasting foam in the tall goblet. Sudsy mouthfeel. Quite malty and rather sweet. Some roasted grain taste but mostly caramel. It's a bigger sort of Märzen. It finishes on the mineral and bitter side. More hoppy than anything for Oktoberfest should be. Green tea aftertaste. Fair for sipping but I would not want very much of this. Dated 220 235.

229213 stamped on the bottom of the can. 229th day of 2021?
It pours a beautifully clear amber with an inch of foam.
Smells of caramel malt, bread, light hops.
Taste is of bread, some sweetness from the caramel, very light grassy hops that doesn't intrude on the malty goodness.
Body and carbonation is just right for the style.
Nice example of an American interpretation of a Märzen style Lager.

i think this one is new for this fall, really solid take on the style, but i am getting into the season, love fall drinking, the styles, the cooler weather, the food with the beer, all of it, so part of this experience is that the beer is good, but also i am so over the top ready for it that it hit the mark perfectly for me. a really strong addition to their lineup, which has stagnated a little bit in recent years, at least in terms of what is packaged and available out there in the wild. a good looking clear amber color to it with an average white head, rising carbonation, and a nose of slightly sweet german malts, fresh baked bread, honey, almond, and fallen leaves, caramelized but not overly sugary to my senses, some lager yeast perceptible as well. good balance of flavors, the malt leads as it should, a vienna lager complexion to it, nutty like that and sweet in the middle, lager yeast is fresh and flavorful, the body is medium and fizzy, and the finish brings some hops, maybe slightly more bitter than is common, but the beer has great balance overall. i could drink a six pack of these no problem, a nice welcome to the fall season, good contribution from all the elements, classically styled but also a little bit distinctive. nice job with this one, hopefully more new flavors on the way from these guys as well, this one was a welcome sight! i cant wait to drink a ton of oktoberfest this fall!
