On-tap at the Happy Gnome. I'm not sure if this one is new or perhaps it is Olde Bluehair on-tap, but whatever it is I'm really glad I got to try it. Served into something like a 10oz glass:
A - Muddy brown with hues of caramel and golden straw. Decent head in the beginning that dies into a foam ring with patchy clouds in the middle. Really creamy lacing.
S - Huge notes of caramel, brown sugar, vanilla and light oak. There is a nice sweetness of candy sugar and really smooth bourbon. Quite nice.
T - Really follows the nose. More noticable tones of bourbon in the start than followed by brown sugar and caramel.
M - Nice carbonation and really smooth and creamy. A bit thick and heavy with a tingle from the booze.
O - I really liked this one. It smelled and tasted really awesome and would definitely drink this again if I had the chance. Really happy with the Happy Gnomes tap selection and if they keep having awesome stuff like this on-tap, I might just have to move in upstairs.

On tap at The Happy Gnome.
Served in a tulip a dark amber color with a dark tan head.
Sweet malts and bourbon to fill the nose. The bourbon is a bit subtle, but it is there.
Loads of malty sweetness with some noticeable hops and lighter notes of oak and bourbon. I like that the bourbon is not hot and in your face, but more of a compliment to the overall beer. Very tasty as a sipper.
Big and syrupy smooth.
I very much enjoyed this beer even though the bourbon is more subdued than most. Very tasty and actually drinks quite well for how big of a beer it is. Happy for the experience.
