Appearance: Orange tinted copper amber tone with a creamy textured tan nice sized head leaves thick even lacing. Aroma: Citrus and pine scented hops touch of caramel malt presence. Taste: I sense hop pellet usage but I must say the hop bitterness here is overbearing on the palate the ESB is known for a caramel malt presence to balance, the hops don't let the malts see the light here not very good considering the unbalance of flavors. Moutfheel: Medium body no complaints about carbonation here, was fine. Drinkability: We don't see many hoppy beers from Erie Brewing, hopefully they learn how to obtain some balance in the hoppy brews.
