Picked up a 6 pack and they have changed the bottles to look just like the larger 0.5L only smaller. 0.31L. I prefer the 0.5 L but what can you do here in the states. Since Oktoberfest was cancelled have to just imagine being there and this bier helps. Beautiful golden color. Pours a nice head that leaves no lacing on my Paulaner Oktoberfest bier stein. I think it is okay to drink Haker-Pschorr in a Paulaner glass.
It is so very smooth. I lover Oktoberfest biers and the breweries in America just can't pull it off as well. I think Bell's is my favorite but it is just more bitter than this one. I guess brewing beer for hundreds of years you can perfect the style. The bready malts just temper the flavor so well. If you see a six-pack this year I would grab it and look forward to the day we can enjoy this beer with others from around the world. Imagine sitting closer than 6 feet on picnic tables inside a giant tent. Not this year but hopefully 2021. Prost!

Hacker-Pschorr is world class brewery and that alone should catch your attention. Always a great experience and a pleasure.
This Marzen style is a easily drinkable because it's really well made. Hands down.
Grains, spice, fruits (apple and apricot perhaps?), good carbonation, malty and perfectly balanced.
Enjoy!

Good German beer, without the complexity of other beers that I like the most. A good brain to get thirsty. Too simple. The bottle is very nice, maybe the best bee

From a bottle.
Deep dark amber body with a good head. Malt dominated and aroma and flavor, but with more hops appearing in the mildly bitter flavor.
Medium body and carbonation.
