A nice cloudy darker amber color with little head from a careful pour.

Light yeast aroma with faint citrus notes. A peach aroma, while light, was the predominate for this brew.

The sweet yeasty flavor worked really well. It was easy to drink, and one could enjoy a few at a time.

Definitely recommended!

I got a great deal on this beer - $4 for a 17oz bottle.

A - Medium-light straw color. Quite a bit of head even with a gentle pour.

S - Light, wheat, bit of citrus - nice smell.

T - Tasted really sweet to me. Nice flavor. Bartender offered me a lemon but I declined.

M - Good medium body, refreshing feel.

D - Very good. My wife was still busy in the flower shop, so I went back to the bar and had another. Really enjoyed this beer.

Another great German beer. This one is unique to me only in the way I discovered it. I was at a sushi bar looking for a good Japanese beer and had a disastrous American made attempt so I looked at the rest of their offerings and found this one. What a surprise!! It poured a nice, semi-dark color with a great aroma and an initial mouthfeel. The taste was what I would have expected from a great German beer, but I was hoping for more ... Nothing is perfect! This is a truly great beer and I hope to enjoy it again!

Appearance: About a two finger head. Pours a golden-y brown color.

Aroma: Very much wheat right off the bat. You can smell the citrus backbone, but it is still very light.

Taste: Very slight bitterness. The citrus taste comes through as well as a hint of spices.

Mouthfeel: Very good mouthfeel. Light carbonation compared to other beers of the same style--which is a good thing. Slightly thick.

Drinkability: Very drinkable.

330ml bottle served in a weizen glass.

L - murky orange/amber color with a fluffy white head that stayed as a layer and left trails and clouds of lacing.

S - earthy wheat with a hint of citrus rind.

T - good blend of spiced wheaty flavors with a zing of citrus and gentle bitterness.

F - medium bodied with good carbonation.

D - a very drinkable beer.

Out of a bomber bottle this beer was a cloudy color like raw honey with lots of rising carbonation. The one finger of slightly-yellow head quickly diffused to little more than a tiny collar. No lacing at all. Less than impressive... The aroma was of what, citrus, honey, Belgian yeast and a pleasant residual sweetness. The flavors were on-point for the style even if fairly standard. I tasted Belgian yeast, cloves, coriander, hints of bananas, citrus, crystal malt and wheat. The mouthfeel was good but it a bit oily, the body medium and the carbonation frothy. For an inexpensive import I found this one enjoyable and it would make a s good summer selection.

Had a cider color to it; a darker yellow-orange and opaque. Head was white, thick, and foamy. It was also stable as well as there was head throughout the drinking. Aroma was a little weak, but I could pick up some bready wheat. Taste was a mix of sweet wheat, a light hint of banana bread and cloves, and a good hoppy kick going down. Excellent body and carbonation. I could easily down a couple of these.

12 oz. bottle poured into weizen glass.

A: Poured a cloudy golden yellow/orange with 2-finger foamy head. Nice retention and moderate lacing.

S: Bready yeast with lemon peel and some spices.

T: Lots of bananas and bubblegum with a hint of vanilla and citrus. Really, really nice...

M: Chewy and rich with great carbonation.

D: ABV suggests this is more of a cross between a traditional Hefeweizen and Dunkelweizen than a Weizenbock. Categories aside, this is a really good beer and goes down really easily.

I've tried this one many times but finally sat down and really "tasted" it. Glad I did, because this rates even higher on my list than I previously remember.

Poured into weizen glass.
I don't think this should be called a weizenbock, since it's basically a cloudy gold and carries only 5.5% alcohol.
A: hazy golden, enormous head fills half of weizen glass, slowly settles to cap. No lacing to speak of. Active carbonation throughout.

S: Spicy, citrusy wheat, bready yeast and faint floral hops.

T: Right where it should be for the style, definite wheat bite, refreshing noble hops and moderate sweetness. I find myself wishing it were a bit more multi-faceted- flavor is nice, but doesn''t really develop into anything.

M: Fairly light but satisfying. Carbonation created the huge head, but is actually soft and nice with tiny active bubbles.

D: Refreshing and smooth, this would go down very easily, particularly on a nice day. I usually do not love wheat beers, and I enjoyed this one better than most. Would recommend it to anyone who wants an authentic, nothing-crazy representation of the style. Cheers!

A - Pours a beautiful golden color with nice thick head.

S - A definite citrusy wheat aroma

T - Taste is certainly wheat-dominated, with the yeast coming through as well. A bit sweet, but certainly not too sweet. Hops are present in the background.

M - I thought it was a bit too carbonated, but the feel is otherwise appropriate.

D - Very drinkable. A very flavorful beer that doesn't sit too heavy on the stomach.

Poured dark golden with 2.5 finger head... I was impressed with the smooth head with a latte look and feel of the bubbles... Traditional wheat/yeast aroma as is expected... Taste is smooth with an earthy overtone going down and hardly an aftertaste... Really enjoyed this beer along with some tacos...

I had out of a 12 ounce bottle.
A- Gold color, basically opaque. It had a thick bubbly head though I didn't see many bubbles. Actually, they are just very small and went away quickly. Excellent lacing.
S- It has a very pungent wheat-citrus scent to it.
T- Very smooth wheat beer with an interesting berry aftertaste. Very well balanced. So smooth, not crisp, but in this case it works well. Nice cold weather wheat beer.
