Single 0.5 l flip top bottle purchased in Oberammergau, Germany October 2025 - best before 04 2026.
Pours a very nice clear golden colour with near two fingers of puffy white head that settles to a whipped cream like finger of cap - delicate lacing.
Nose of bready grainy malt, touch of honey with gentle citrus aromas.
Sweet bready malt on the palate, some floral notes, honey and then giving way to a soft grassy hit with some herbal bitterness.
Smooth fuller side of medium mouthfeel with a touch of chewiness; decent carbonation and a slightly dry finish.
Honestly this is just another delicious festbier from one of the six Oktoberfest breweries that is a treat to drink.

500ml flip-top bottle at my home bar in Bavaria. The foam is discreetly restrained, but that suits the style. On the nose: typical festival beer aroma, as one would expect—grain, light citrus notes, and a hint of bread crust. Not spectacular, but honest and appealing. The first sip is smooth and easy to drink, with a pleasant malt sweetness. Ending is typical for style.

Deep gold and clear. Lower carbonation.
Malt flavours are of course dominant. Tastes bready, biscuity, and sweet going down, before giving way to a drier, bitter hop flavour.
