Pils Naturtrub 4.8 ABV Served in ,3L handed glass, Euro 3.20 vom fass
Poured vigorously. 3 fingers rocky white head, nice lacing, medium retention. Cloudy yellow/bright gold. Grassy herbal hop aroma. Malty medium bodied sweetness followed herbal peak then a dry, lingering rounded bitterness. This tastes and looks like a fresh lager a few weeks out of primary lending it more bite and a certain "farminess". A good example of the style, comparable to Lotteraner Kellerbier from Ratskeller down the street.

This unfiltered Pils poured a hazy, yellow color with creamy, white foam that persisted. The smell was minimal with a faint malt aroma and a hint of hops. The taste was bready malt with some yeast with modest hoppiness. Some aromatic hop flavors came through in the finish. The mouthfeel was smooth and crisp, relatively clean, with medium-light body, and good carbonation. There was a pleasant malt and hoppy flavor in the aftertaste. This was an enjoyable beer, though seemed to me somewhere between a Pilsner and a Helles Lager.
