Served on tap at the Monk's Kettle in SF in a pilsner glass.
A: Pours a darkish amber color with a nice white head.
S: Grainy malts with a nice fresh hop aroma of freshly cut grass.
T: An interesting taste. Some slightly sweet grainy malt with a lot of musty hops. Fresh cut floral grass, finishing a bit on the bitter side. Something is a bit off on the taste. The hops used have a wet, musty, decaying taste.
M: A bit slick from the wet hops.
D: I didn't really care for this one too much. It just didn't really work together for me.

I hate being ''that guy'' but this beer was not good. Pours clear bronze with a short white head. Sweet bready aroma with some grassy hops. Taste was foul. Nasty lagery corn that did not blend well with the spruce/pine oil of the hops. Low rating could be from the great APA, IPA, and others I had that preceded this, but due to what I tasted, I am reluctant to try this one again.

Enjoyed while on a wine tour of Napa/Sonoma.
A: Pours a nice golden hue with a tall creamy head. The retention is good with nice sheet lace left behind.
S: Nice malty aromas with hints of yeasty bread and citrus hops.
T: Better than I thought. Nice balance of hops and malt. Nice biscuit bready malt up front with hints of corn and caramel. The finish is rather hoppy for the style with a nice bitter grapefruit finish.
M: Medium in body smooth with zippy carbonation.
D: Not bad, not my favorite, but a tasty lager.

Pretty damn surprised by the negative reviews for this one. Had a glass of this on tap at Monk's Kettle, the name listed there was "Let's Go Shopping" rather than "Just Go Shopping." Anyway. Dark but clear amber in appearance with a solid half-inch of head that slowly settles to a ring. The aroma is distinctly of wet hops; floral, slightly grassy, very aromatic on the whole. The flavor follows suit with a ton of fresh hop flavor, light-to-moderate bitterness and a touch of caramel malt. The finish is dry and crisp, spot-on for the style though not especially bitter. I'd gladly drink a ton of this stuff.

I had this on tap at Toad in the Hole, Santa Rosa, but the name listed was "Let's Go Shopping."
It's ok, but thin, rather bland, one-dimensional, and a little off-tasting.
Bronze-amber, it has a fairly big off-white head that slowly shrinks to a permanent, thin foamy top and leaves some decent lace in fairly even rings.
The aroma is a bit odd, musty grain, a lot of juice and fruit, plus, old, musty, cooked vegetables and a hint of grapefruit.
The taste starts very briefly with tart grapefruit up front, then odd cooked vegetable stew and wet plants with some musty grain, then a dominant grapefruit flavour with nothing else, lightly bitter but not very, and then a long toasted cracker aftertaste. It isn't bad but it does little for me.

Pint at O'Briens Pub in San Diego on 10/26/08 for around four dollars dollars, reviewed from notes, first beer I tasted on Sunday at this year's Wet Hop Festival
A-Medium amber with some orange mixed in, one inch soapy white head that lasts more than five minutes, good retention, lacing only at first
S-Floral hops, bready malt aromas, corn, skunkiness, piney accents, citrus, butter, thought I could smell some spruce at times, and a fair share of grains
T-I am really wondering how this is considered an all-malt lager when it was a fresh hop beer but onto the flavor, starts off with a big corn taste, slightly sweet malt in the middle, grassy accents and subtle hops make up the finish, gets sweeter with an apricot taste by the end, this was a little skunky at times but that was more the yeast doing it than the hoppiness, funky beer that did not work very well together
M-Very watered down, herbal, grassy, and bitter mouthfeel, too much carbonation, thin bodied with little substance, taste lingers with dryness
D-Could not drink much more than a pint, low in alcohol though, light on the stomach but that is because there is not much fullness, more like water than beer at times, crisp sometimes
One of my least favorite beers I have had from Moonlight who is usually spot on, probably my least favorite beer of the festival but at least their other offering was my favorite, would skip this one next time, might be worth trying but do not expect much

On tap at City Beer Store. I was not a big fan of this one. Orange in color, very malty and hoppy. But there was what I felt was a weird "wet hay" flavor going on. Maybe this is what abfraser characterized as "biscuity." Whatever it was, I was not a fan, and didn't finish my glass.

On tap at City Beer Store.
A: Pale orange hue, mostly opaque with a nice white head
S: Biscuity and bready, nice light hoppiness
T: Big malt backbone; very biscuity; low-key hops in the background.
M: Light to medium bodied with a nice smooth mouthfeel
D: Very nice, refreshingly drinkable lager. I could have many of these easily
I really good sessionable lager. The kind of beer you want to bring a six-pack of to a gathering so you can drink good beer but not end up on your ass by the end of the night
