L: Pours a murky brown with orange-y highlights. Zero head.
S: Something like grapes mixed with a musty basement. Not nice.
T: A bit peppery, slightly sour but not in a good way, bitterness that doesn't strike me as being a result of hops.
F: Next to no carbonation. Very thin and watery.
O: Bad. Bad bad bad. I'd rather have a BMC/AB.

This is in no shape or form a Belgian style beer, don't let the label fool you. They have tried of course but the attempt failed at every level.
It failed in its appearance (the colour, the head), it failed in its smell (too metallic), it failed in its strength (at 5%, they could not have gotten it right) and most importantly in taste (very flat, metallic and off tasting).
It is perhaps little surprise that they even failed with the cork, which takes considerable time to remove.
I am not sure which demographic certain breweries are attempting to trick, but they have to know that those who actually drink Belgian beer, can smell a rat a mile away.
Don't waste your money or taste-buds on this one.

Pours a dirty hazy, unfiltered orange colour.
Aromas of honey and malt with plenty of floral.
Tastes exactly how it smells with some lemon grass and piney hops.
Mouth is dry with low bitterness.
Not disappointing at all!
Oh Canada!!!

Yeasty, malty, sparkly with a hint of spice. Hazy caramel colour, short head that is gone almost right away. Overall a pleasant, but not blow you away, beer. Just enough of everything to make for a quiet, enjoyable imbibe. Quite nice yeast character which makes the whole thinmg work. SOme fruit and malt, a little bite from the carbonation.
Shocker here for me is that it is out of Trafalgar which is not one of my faves. However, I'd drink this one again and enjoy it. Subtly good. Drink it as it warms to get the most out of it, no good cold.

Bottle: Poured a murky amber color ale with almost no head and limited carbonation. Aroma of unrefined grainy notes with some off flavours. Taste is off balance with too much residual sugar and some grainy unrefined notes. Body is full with almost no carbonation. Surprise how they can brewed this type of beer and still be allowed to sell through the LCBO.
