Taken at the ESB location on 18th Jan 2013: God it was cold outside!

Inside it was warm and welcoming.

The beer is pale yellow, almost golden, the bright winter sun giving it a true shine as it burst through the window. A white, thin head sat on top.

Citrus lead in the nose and taste: more grapefruit and lemon than orange.

Body wise it was OK, could have done with a bit more depth maybe.

My first beer in New York (they got better).

On-tap at Heartland Brewery and Chophouse (Times Square), New York, NY

A: The beer is clear yellow in color but has no visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down, leaving delicate lacing on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of floral hops and oranges are present in the nose.
T: The taste is slightly sweet and seems to resemble orange blossom honey a bit, but the flavors dissipate rather quickly.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer isn't that difficult to drink but doesn't seem to really fit its style and could use a little flavoring and bitterness from the hops in the taste.
