Picked up a brick at the duty free shop with this one on 3/28/2005. Looked like a 12-oz. pour in a goblet.
On the menu, Smooth European malts lend a delicate chocolate sweetness to the zesty flavors of dried orange peel and special Belgian yeast, and 6.5% abv. Very light ½-inch cream of head that has nice, thick stick. Hue is deep amber verging almost on purple in appearance. Some chocolate on nose, but delicate as noted on the menu, with more of a lightly roasted malt and juicy orange aspect. To taste, more like a light chocolate raspberry than anything else, with some hints of roastiness, yeast, and a very light bittering note. Pretty good.

Draught @ Times Square Location: This was an interesting brew. Adding chocolate wheat malt to a Wit is an interesting permutation of the style. It is a hazy copper color, with a fairly dense off-white head. There was some lacing. There was a bit of chocolate and orange notes to the aroma. Slightly spicy also. The taste was very enjoyable. Chocolate, wheat and orange notes. It has both notes of tartness and sweetness. This was a very good variation of a Wit.
