A - Golden colored beer with a nice head that left some solid stick on the sides.
S - Wheaty, clove, banana. Smells like an appropriate hefeweizen, although the sweetness falls just a tiny bit flat.
T - Pretty light tasting, it falls flat here as well. Some banana, clove, a little watery tasting.
M - Lighter bodied, carbonated, slightly thin.
O - It's acceptable, but not great. Not really interested in having this again.

From growler purchased a few hours before trying.
Poured into weizen glass:
Pours clouded golden with a fluffy large white head that descends slowly to a lasting thick cover, leaving lacing on the glass.
The smell is of banana with some clove and a wheat tang.
The taste doesn't quite live up to the aroma, but keeps some of it. Some salty water interferes and the flavor doesn't seem to hang on fully for the duration. In fact, I was less impressed as it progressed and a second glass was poured. The flavors seemed to disappear rather quickly leaving some salt and a hint of metallic that doesn't stay around much....Pretty thin body, though it hangs on to an acceptably light body for the style without completely falling apart, and there is a refreshing crispness to it.
An American wheat ale that takes a stab at a HW, and almost makes it, esp. in appearance and aroma. Despite some minor flaws, however, it's a decent brew - It's probably more refreshing in the summer.
