Pours a fogged darker amber. Fruity nose with a good bit of yeast. Flavor is sweet and tangy with a strong and obvious fruit influence. Sickly sweet almost. The feel is thicker on the liquid. The bitter side kind of detracts from the overall of the experience. I love the lambics (this has some similarities), but to me this is just okay - though still decently good enough.

Appearance: hazy dark peach colored beer with a 1/2" head that produced some spotty lacing.
Smell: raspberries were easy to detect, but this beer was very one-dimensional on the aroma.
Taste: raspberries, wheat tones, pommegranite, and some ginger produce a somewhat sweet beer. No real bitterness here to balance this out some more. This beer is not an amber as listed here, but a lightweight fruit beer brewed with champagne yeast.
Mouthfeel: very crisp at the start, lightly dry and crisp at the finish. Short berry aftertaste. Light in body.
Drinkability: one of these is more than enough in a session. If you are in the mood for a light fruity beer, this will hit the spot. Worth a look only for the unique qualities of this beer.

This fruit beer was mostly fruit cocktail. Very sugary, with some beer taste. There was some hop taste. There was red lace, for those who are into that sort of thing. A medium mouthfeel, but a mouthfeel of fruit cocktail that cannot be compared. Some champagne yeast.
