Stopped in for a brew (or two) while passing through Port Authority....this was a seasonal brew on tap....
Ruby/maroon/brown colored liquid with a decent sized creamy head. Not much lacing. Smell was of berries/figs/sweet smells. Taste was very sticky and of dark berry/malt. Overall, a very decent beer.

Still waiting for my bus at Port Authority. Had the Indiana Pale Ale first, but wanted something a little darker. It has nice color, with a malty smell and taste to match (similar to a wee heavy in both). Very little head. Don't think I'll order another.

First had: on tap at Heartland Union Square, NYC, NY
Not a bad seasonal. Not tremendous though. Poured a translucent brown with a finger of white head. Light caramel malts in the aroma. Malty, nutty taste with a mild amount of caramel, and maybe a touch of raisin. Not too distinctive. Light-medium mouthfeel, and drinkable, but a bit bland for me.

Buffalo Bock...
Appearance-dark brown, crisp and solid foamy head.
Smell-maltiness balanced by alcohol, nut aroma as well.
Taste/Mouthfeel-well balanced nuttiness and malt at first followed by a hoppyness that evens it out, crisp and easygoing.
Drinkability-definitely sessionable.
Overall-approachable and easy drinking bock. Nice job brewing this one, probably the best that I've tried here.

Dark brown color with tints of rustiness when held to the light. Malt is the predominate smell. Not much of a head and very little lacing. Taste is smooth and delicious. I tried the Red Rooster Ale and went back to the Bock - it was the best beer of the night for me.

Clear brown with medium sized head and small lace. The aroma is malts, low hops and caramel. The taste is malts, sweet caramel with some mild alcohol tones. The feel is simply rich, chewy and smooth. Medium in every way and very drinkable.
Notes: best beer of the night for me as it was not too heavy or too light. Good flavors and good balance. I liked this bock. ABV could have been higher as it was listed to be either 5.9 or 6.2.

Appearance: clear mohagany brown in color with a 2" thick head that slowly recedes to a thin surface layer. Some mild lacing paints the glass.
Smell: malt sweetness is light and little else is detectable.
Taste: malt sweetness dominates here but it is not overbearing. Some caramel, prunes, ripe black plums, and a soft bitterness rounds it out. Alcohol is mildly noticeable.
Mouthfeel: smooth throughout. Relatively short aftertaste. Medium bodied brew.
Drinkability: This beer was easy to quaff and a nice change for those looking to have something focused on the malt and not the hops. This was a decent session beer.
