They tell me this is actually an ale...
Crazy marketing i guess.. They possible have fermented this at colder temperatures however.
Typical brown ale. Nothing special, other than this is a good locally brewery, and this beer is at least as good as Newcastle.
Somewhat nutty hints, creamy tan head.
Very drinkable, Come on down and try this or some other of their fine ales.

The appearance of this beer was a dark brown color, similar to a brown ale, with a think white head that did not last very long. Smell was a slight nutty malt aroma, with a very slight hop scent.
Taste was a mild nutty malt flavor with a hint of sweetness. A slight hoppy flavor to finish, but all of it was accompanied by a slight lemon flavor. Mouthfeel was a little thin and I didn't feel it was cold enough for a lager.
Overall a fair beer, but I would get a taste of it before you buy a pint.
