Appearance - Pours hazy and faded orange with an off-white, finger width head. Decent retention before dying to a thin, broken layer of suds with a thin ring around the edge of the glass. A few small spots make up the lacing.
Smell - Distinctly orange and vanilla cream.
Taste - Vanilla upfront before the hops quickly kick in with a fair amount of citrus character. Very creamy and orange flavor mid-taste. Mostly mild sweetness in the finish before a faint trace of orange pith bitterness in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with low carbonation. Creamy, velvety mouthfeel makes this an easy drinker.
Overall - Pretty good beer, but this is more 'orange creamsicle' than 'vanilla milkshake' thanks in large part to the flavor the hops impart. Perhaps using hops that give off very mild floral character would've given this a more natural vanilla taste; maybe a blend of euro hops?
