Fresh out of the oven, our latest Pie inspired American sour is reminiscent of Grandma's homemade, mixed, Berry pie! Brewed with cherry and boysenberry purees for sweetness, and accented with cinnamon, lactose vanilla to bring that pie element to the table. This mixed berry American Sour is ready to serve for all occasions.

Smells like a sour ale with spices. Taste is not super sour but there is no sweetness of the fruit. The most notable aftertaste flavor is a cross of cinnamon with vanilla normal sour ale tail.

A: The beer is hazy brownish amber in color. It poured with a quarter finger high beige colored head.
S: Moderate aromas of cherries are present in the nose along with notes of brown sugar.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of boysenberries. There is a light amount of sourness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I enjoyed how this beer wasn't really that sour and had an interesting contrast between the sourness and brown sugar. It tasted a lot like the filling of a mixed berry pie.
