Notes:
The much anticipated strawberry version of our famous Illa Vanilla Milkshake IPA is back! A light and creamy addition of vanilla and lactose with a little kiss of hop bitterness, support the strawberry forward sweetness in this milkshake IPA. Reminiscent of the little strawberry candy wrapped in red and green foil.

It really caught me off guard with how good it really is .. I can't really explain it though. Chuggability? Yes. Would you wanna chug a tasty beverage? No, wouldn't lol.

12 FL OZ can
Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours a pink hue and is hazy. It is topped with an inch of off white head that leaves decent lacing.
It has a strawberry Quik smell.
The taste follows the smell. Strawberry is there. The vanilla is too.
Light bodied with a thin mouthfeel
The taste and smell are good. The mouthfeel is thin. Not bad overall though.

Probably one of the better milkshake IPA's I have had of of late due to the less harsh and hoppy new England style used. Noted in both smell and taste of strawberries vibrant and full. Smooth body and easy to finish this beer was worth trying and I will seek out any other variants if they exist. They mostly got me with the silly skull cover art I am a sucker for skulls.

A Tavour treat. Pours a light red color with a minimal head that lasts quite a while. Aroma is mostly good with a hint of strawberries. Tastes of strawberries with a hoppy finish.

Appearance - Pours hazy and orange with a pinkish tinge. Head peaks at one and a half fingers, is off-white with a slight pink hue, and displays decent retention before setting to a thin, consistent layer of suds across the surface. Lacing is good, with a network of patches connected by lines and a trace pattern of spots.
Smell - Strawberry hits the nose first, then creamy sweetness and a hint of citrus hoppiness.
Taste - Follows the nose. Slightly tangy strawberry and vanilla cream sweetness upfront and throughout, with a lesser citrus hoppiness riding beneath. Finishes mostly with that strawberry and vanilla kick, with a hint of citrus still hanging in there.
Mouthfeel - On the fuller side of medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Nice, creamy texture lends itself to a smooth, easy finish.
Overall - Tastes exactly like it's supposed to - a strawberry milkshake IPA. The 4-pack came with two Strawberry and two vanilla - if it came with all 4 strawberry I'd probably pay $20 for it again - in the current 2/2 format, maybe not.

Fresh can.
Looks like strawberry/orange juice, not super thick. Fluffy head, looks like soap bubbles dissipating.
Smell is straight up strawberry milkshake. Little ipa smell but very minimal.
Taste is also predominantly strawberry cream. Some other fruity flavors but the strawberry milkshake is really there dominating.
Medium smooth mouthfeel.
Let me say... this was my first milkshake ipa. They definitely did what they said they would, making it taste like a strawberry milkshake. However like Thanos doing exactly what he said he was going to do and destroy half of all life, it was pretty villainous.
I will give this the benefit of the doubt and not rate it to harshly because of the style.
However... I had to cringe to get it down and 2/3 was poured down the drain.
