473 mL can from the LCBO; dated May 21 2020 and served barely chilled.
Pours a hazy, pale straw yellow colour, generating more than a finger of foamy white head. It melts away within two minutes' time, leaving behind a frothy collar and a modest spattering of lace; looks fine to me. Mostly tart on the nose - I'm getting sharp lacto characteristics, as well as lemon, orange peel, lime and indeterminate tropical fruit; maybe just a hint of gym bag funk, too.
It's serviceable, with the lime/orange zests providing some much-needed punch to an otherwise forgettable kettle sour. It's got a grainy, crackery wheat malt backdrop, accompanied at first by notes of orange, grapefruit and melon; the lactic acidity/tartness starts to take over near the middle, lasting through to the finish. Hints of pithy, citrus peel bitterness last briefly into the aftertaste, which lingers to the point of overstaying its welcome. Light-ish in body, with moderately low carbonation levels and a slick, soft feel on the palate; fairly good drinkability.
Final Grade: 3.78, a B+. Amsterdam has been a presence in the Ontario craft beer scene for longer than most, but sours are not something they appear to be known for - hell, I've ticked nearly thirty of their beers over the years, and aside from one (collaboratively brewed) gose, Makes U Pucker is the first sour of theirs I think I've come across. It's competently brewed, but I wouldn't say it distinguishes itself from the mess of other 'dry hopped sours' that you can find these days. Worth a try, at least.

473 ml can served cool into a pint glass. LCBO purchase for around $3.50 CDN. Dry hopped sour. Canned March 24, 2020.
Appearance - Semi hazy pale golden color that pours a beautiful 2 fingers of long-lived white head. Lots of lacing left behind.
Smell - quite strange. Hints of ripe mango and lime give a dank but fruity aroma with some aspect of rotting fruit or gym socks. Weird perfumy aspect to it as well.
Taste - Tart and sour with a hefty wheaty grain bill mid sip. Plenty of lime and definitely some orange. Mango is hidden which is a good thing for a sour.
Mouthfeel - Soft and lightly carbonation, juicy body and only mild puckering finish. Quite nice to drink.
Overall - A pretty good sour with good flavor and a nice feel to it. The lime heavy flavor is something a little different that I personally like. The aroma isn't great as the sweetness and ripeness of mango is offputting but otherwise a very serviceable brew.
