On cask at the Monk's Table for Barrel Bragging Rights, into a sampler tulip. Collaboration between Amsterdam and Mike from A Year of Beer.

Reddish brown, low carbonation with no head or lacing. Nose has black cherry, dark raspberry, and general sweet darker beerry notes. A bit of barrel, overripe apple as well. Taste has more dark berry, cherries, blackberries and raspberries. Light tartness but the barrel I think stole some of the stronger lacto pucker and bigger spritzy pop I wanted in the finish, although it's there in minute quantities. Good sweet malt to support the fruitiness. Medium feel. A light soured beer, but carbonation would've put this over the top. ended up drinking this for a better part of the evening regardless.
