February 2014: 500 ml bottle, batch #1027. ABV is 7%. 25 IBU. Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Intense and beautiful deep red colour, moderate pink head. Aroma of cherries, marzipan, wood and dust. Strong flavour of sour and tart cherries galore, not much sweetness here. Lovely stuff.

Bottle shared at August THT. Clear ruby pour with a thin pink head. Notes of macerated cherries, grapes. Medium body, low carbonation and a medium tart finish.

Bottle: Poured a deep cloudy red color ale with a large pink color foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of fresh cherry notes with some light tart notes and some light funky notes. Taste is a nice mix of fresh cherry notes with some tart notes and light oak with some light residual sugar notes. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation. Great mix of refreshing notes of fruits with some nice complexity while avoiding too much acidity.

Poured into tulip.
Pours dark hazy ruby red with 1-finger pink head.
Smell - sweet cherry, cherry jam foam.
Taste - actually sharp sour cherry, some notes of raw plant branches or elderberry.
Medium body, good carbonation, surprisingly drinkable, despite 7% ABV.

Bottle at Bishops Arms Malmö
A: pours deep red with a large pinkish head. Quite appealing.
S: Aaaargh. So so sweet. Sweeter than any faro I have ever had. There is some fruitiness but this is all about artificial sweetness. Disgusting!
T: Really sour upfront which is nice because it hides the sweetness. Cherries are more obvious than from the nose but the sweetness comes back in the aftertaste with a disturbing, lingering length.
M: mouthfeel is ok, the carbonation is ok.
O: brewing something like this and advertising it as lambic like is a real shame. This is pretty bad.
