An unfiltered wheat beer in the Bavarian style, a refreshing light beer that is a summer favorite. Banana and clove dominate the flavor and aroma, with a hint of bubble gum. Served with or without a citrus garnish.

Taster at brewery. Light golden pour, hazy, small white foamy head. Nice rich weizen notes in aroma and taste. Clove, bubblegum, banana. Clean, smooth.

definitely the best beer i have had from these guys to date at this point. a very well executed hefe thats not just good, but a pretty flawless example of the style, and really demonstrates a level of quality i did not know was possible here based on the other beers i have had from them. its lightly cloudy, very light in color, but bright in its yellow glow. it holds a nice white head in the pint glass, and leaves symmetrical lace rings as i drink it down. aroma and flavor are the same, well developed yeast esters but good balance, ripe banana, white pepper, and allspice notes to it, even green grape, plenty of fresh wheat, and a citrus character from the hops on the back end thats real mild, but also quite distinctive. some warming sort of clove notes too, but this is real dry and drinkable, superbly carbonated, and very refreshing to me, i had a hard time not just chugging this down and ordering another one. i love the mellow yeast, its relaxed compared to a lot of these, and i get a little fresh lemongrass and lime in the finish, a cool way to wind this down. expertly crafted, a new high water mark for these guys as far as i am concerned. ill look forward to my next pint of this!

Pours a hazy light gold... great pillowy white head.... beautiful lacing.
Nose is very balanced... light clove and nice banana... mild graininess.... even a hint of lemon.
Flavor mirrors the nose and again is basically flawless.... a bit of pink bubblegum phenol shows with warmth.
Body is a light/medium with a smooth abundant small bubble carbonation... the mouthfeel is velvety..
Very well done... This is every bit as good as any American made hefe I've ever had for sure.
