Look: It pours burgundy red . The clarity is good. Head retention is poor.
Smell: It has a high level of sourness in the aroma with a wine like quality for the first impression. It has fruit aromas of orange and black cherries.
Taste: It is highly sour and tart with a wine quality mixed with orange and black cherries. It does have quite a acidic bite to it. The is a very low level of spiciness as well.
Feel: It had a medium body and the acidity is quite high through the taste and into the finish.
Overall, this is a solid beer especially in the tartness complexity.

Appearance: Pours hazy and copper colored, with a modest head that fades to a ringlet; spotty lacing all around
Smell: The oaky Bourbon tones encompass the tart cherry; hints of green apple, caramel and vanilla
Taste: Tart cherry forward with unripe plum and green apple building; some caramel tones develop, underneath; after the swallow, the Bourbon barrel impact arrives, enveloping the flavor with oak, vanilla and alcohol; tartness lingers in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with low to moderate carbonation
Overall: An interesting experiment - not sure I have had a Bourbon barrel Flanders/Oude Bruin hybrid before; well-executed but not a flavor profile that I can embrace
