Pour: Draught to tulip glass. It's a slightly foggy orange color with pink hues. The beer had just a smattering of head, like the glass was over-filled, that covered the entire surface of the drink. There were also small, slow, lackadaisical bubbles floating up from the bottom of the glass.

Nose: Tart candy, like Smarties, with fruit overtones and hints of kitchen herbs.

Mouth: This beer is immediately too sweet, like saccharin. The alcohol is masked until the swallow where it builds up a bit of a burn that comes back up the throat and on to the back and top of the mouth. There's a very light hop note but not nearly enough to balance the sugars and chemical presence. In spite of it's flavor, this beer has an excellent mouthfeel that's slightly chewy as it goes from a crisp entrance to a creamy finish.
