Hand-pulled third of a pint during the Autumn 2013 Wetherspoon's Beer Festival: 16th Oct in the Wellington Spoon's.
Clear amber/dark gold body with a thin covering for a head.
Fruity nose with some promise of maltiness to come.
The taste was a pleasant blend of flavours, malts to the fore, but with a good hop content keeping tabs on the sweetness. The hops giving a satisfying semi-bitter and dry finish.
Alcohol hidden well by the brew: medium bodied and as usual with Adnams, leaves you wanting another.
