Cask conditioned at The Tottenham, London. Deep amber/copper colour, minimal head. Aroma of nuts and red fruits. Flavour is a bit alcoholic with a substantial hoppy bitterness, which leaves a nice aftertaste.

Cask pour. Dark caramel clear body no head. Smell is bitter malts and slight toffee. Mild malt, toffee, bitters, and hints of grassy hops make up the taste. Crisp finish in the feel, with prototypical bitter malt body. Thought this was actually a pretty good example of the style

Cask. Dark amber. Clear with a frothy head producing good lacing.
Mild aroma of malt.
Solid malt flavour which lengthens to produce a light sweet bitter finish.
Soft cask carbonation.
Decent.

5 litre cask from brewery shop containing live yeast. Poured with thick, lasting dense white head. Dark copper, fairly clear. aroma: toffee, some grassy hop. taste: chewy toffee and lingering hop, - a prolonged flavour experience. overall: malty bitter with good depth.

served on cask in weatherspoons...looks great.... taste is nice with a malty aroma. smooth but served too cold. The bottle/tap version at 6.3% is better than this but this is easier to drink and much smoother. the ale is very easy to pair with food of all types so having some pubgrub is advisable
