Ghost Ship is helping me think-through No-Los in two important ways.
First, rating them for me is tough because No-Los are their own style, yet every style makes up the rubric. But increasingly so particularly this year, the No-Los I've been drinking are better because they have a good base recipe that most likely starts with one of the brewer's flagships. Merely add the No-Lo processs and the possible mistakes are fewer. This is a clear advantage older brewers have over the lifestyle No-Lo brewers who often don't have enough experience, apparently, to produce a good brew.
Second, some established brewers have been slow to make good No-Los. And Adnams seems to be one of them. They made two No-Los only and No-Lo Ghost Ship is not good, despite me liking the Original. So I rate the two relative to one another.
Ghost Ship No-Lo could keep its foam even a little. I Smell mostly malt and not even an interesting blend; no aromatic hops to my nose. Tastes also are average relative to the Original which, as an EPA, did a nice job of using hops that linger but not overpower. No-Lo's Feel is way below average, watery.
Overall, I like Adnams for keeping alive English hospitality's different components in a less populated region; but they need to learn to do the No-Lo. Cheers !

Look :- Russet brown ,finger thick head ,high carbonation . Lacing for day .
Smell :- Hops and sweet fruit .
Taste :- Hops , some malt and citric acid . Okay bitterness but in general not much depth.
Mouth feel:- Very watery and a tingly carbonation.
Overall :- A bit too much like hop water which is a shame because it looks good . Not a lot of flavour beyond the hops and not much depth or body to it . Drinkable cold on a hot day .

Bottle. Clear gold. Frothy head dissipates quickly.
Hoppy aroma. Citrus. Lemon zest and grass.
Citrus flavour continues from the aroma. Harsh bitter taste. Almost caustic.
Thin as expected.
Middling for alcohol free.

Bottled and on the label promises 'bold citrus flavours from citra hops'
pours a very slightly hazy barley sugar coloured body with big frothing white head
grapefruit and chlorine aroma
the flavour is soapy and lacks bitterness
as a beer slightly better than average as an alcohol free beer its among the best
