Thank god this was at least OK, given the general crappy nature of the beers this brewer produces. Some roastyness happening. Some brown sugar aswell. Really thin mouthfeel, short flavour, but, i wasn't expectiing much. But i still have to say this wasn't that good.

Not much of a stout. Yeah, it was dark, and it had a small nitro head. But it suffered the same fate as there other beers ... not assertive enough. Almost no aroma. Totally lacking in hop bitterness and flavour, the major bitterness component was the obvious black malt. Very grainy in the mouth.
With a bit of thought this could be made into a decent beer. But this will require a new brewing philosphy.
