Cloudy, hazy yellow in colour; the pint arrived with a decent (and decently persistent) two fingers of head. Both the smell and the taste seemed to straddle the line between a wheat beer (think German hefe) and a German lager--a bit of a clove-y, estery note, but mostly as a counterpoint to a pretty big zesty, lemon-y herbal hop and biscuit malt note. Perhaps a faint . . . sourness or tanginess?
A tasty beer, though my limited experience with the style leaves me unable to categorize it AS a kellierbier; nevertheless, it's worth noting that when Granville actually takes creative lead (as they currently do with their kegs and special releases; bottles and cans are produced at Molson facilities), they can make some really tasty beers.
