Draft pour at Tyranena.
Appearance: black bodied beer with thick cap.
Smell: Light notes of marshmallow and chocolate in the back drop of light roast with a hint of smoke.
Taste: Nice sweet porter lots of chocolate and marshmallow; definitely more sweetness present than the nose led me to think. Light roast and smoke malts.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer with low moderate carbonation. Creamy carbonation with a light oily body. Very drinkable porter with no booze presence.
Overall: Gotta dig the creativity that is happening at Tyranena these days! This is a really solid adjunct porter did'nt get any graham cracker, but the marshmallow and chocolate were present in the beer. Hope this beer makes it into 4 pack format as a BGW series beer as well.

Just a quick 5 oz sample as I was picking up some beer to go at the brewery. This tasted to me like a solid, smoky milk stout but I got none of the S'mores component nor could I really differentiate between the fact that this is a porter and not a stout. I did have to drink it fairly fast because I was crunched for time so maybe it needed more time to warm. Regardless, it was still a solid beer.
