Appearance: Dark brown, small head with poor retention.
Smell: Pretty strong peanut aroma. Very peanutty.
Taste: Sugary sweetness mixed with some peanuts and just a hint of roasted malt. Kind of a little sour note mixed in too. Light bodied. Finishes with peanuts in the aftertaste.
Overall: Almost every brewery seems to try to make a peanut butter porter. Lots of them taste the same, and not really a whole lot like peanut butter, more like peanut additive into a base beer of varying quality. This is decent but nothing special to search out.

I don't ask for much in my peanut butter beer, This is defiantly one of the better ones smooth chocolate no bitterness decent peanut not dry powdered flavor and a bit of sweetness to pull the whole thing together. Best part the ABV is quite low simple enough to chug or sip. Would love to find it again great stuff!

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a black color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of chocolate, peanut butter. Taste is the same as the aroma, roasted malts are also present. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a unique and quality beer worth trying.

I got a bottle of this beer off the single shelf from the Woodman's in Onalaska, Wisconsin just outside of La Crosse. It poured an opaque dark with ecru head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had wonderful peanut butter and chocolate notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with peanut butter and chocolate presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

12oz bottle, served in a Libby globe porter glass. No date on the bottle except for a "20 27".
Appearance: Clear dark brown, with cola brown at the edges. Thin light tan ring of foam at the edge, no lacing.
Smell: Definitely smells like a peanut butter cup. Milk chocolate / cocoa powder + peanut butter.
Taste: Truth in advertising with this one, but with some notable toasted malt light bitterness for balance. The Light chocolate flavor and the peanut flavor is more notable than the chocolate.
Mouthfeel: A bit fizzy, a bit sticky on the teeth. Otherwise nothing special.
Overall / Drinkability: Interesting, definitely a dessert beer, but by itself I'm finding it a bit much. I feel it needs something for pairing, or I served it too warm. Could be a little bit of both going on here, and this would be better paired with the right food and a bit colder. One is enough.

12oz bottle poured into a tulip.
Pours almost black; fluffy khaki head that fades leaving nice retention and lacing.
The aromas have a nice amount of peanut butter leading the way. Some roasted peanut shells. Some chocolate and hazelnuts. Malts are there.
The flavors follow the nose perfectly. More peanut butter leading the way. More peanut shells. Nice chocolate notes blending well with the peanut butter. More hints of hazelnut along with some vanilla in the mix. Moderate to low sweetness. Moderate to low bitterness. Malts do their thing. Alcohol goes unnoticed.
Mouthfeel is on the fuller side of light-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp and spritzy.
This is a pretty solid peanut butter porter. It has just about everything that you'd expect from a peanut butter and chocolate beer, more or less. Not bad at all.

This is a 12oz. bottle poured into a 20oz. weizen glass. This brew is a very dark cola color with a one finger dark tan head that slowly settles to an eighth inch cap. This porter is to dark to observe the carbonation.
The aroma is a very pleasant nut aroma, some sweet cocoa, with the nuts ruling the nose.
The flavor follows the nose, fresh nuts up front with sweet chocolate, followed by a little dark chocolate dryness to finish. There is nothing bitter here, just a hint of dry to the finish, cutting the sweetness nicely.
The feel is medium and silky smooth. This has a flavor like the candy bar, it tastes so good you keep sipping, then it's gone. I can understand why some of my friends pick this up every fall.

Poured from a longneck into my Guinness pint glass, the beer is brown with a beige head.
It has a nose of peanuts, roasted malts and chocolate.
The taste tracks the smell. There are both peanut and chocolate notes all backed by a nice malty Porter. Some slight roast mid glass. Nothing is over powering and the flavors meld well together.
I would love a slightly thicker mouth but that’s a pretty minor quibble.
For me, this is a great dessert or end of night beer.

Had the pleasure of ordering this in a flight tonight. Look is dark ebony brown with a very thin tannish head. Smell of peanut butter and dark sugar... Taste notes of sweet peanut butter and molasses... Feel of slight carbonation and medium body.... Overall a great tasting beer and one I will definitely want again.
